Back in October, FSF appeared was interviewed on "Up Close". The host, Li Jing, also co-hosted FengMi's ChaoJi (Super Access) Interview back in March as well as their recent appearance at the "I Do" event (more to come on that later). I actually finished the subs for this one awhile ago but ended up getting distracted by all the recent FengMi news so didn't get around to this one till now. Sorry!
I would like to thank Mr. "slow-talker" Feng Shaofeng for taking his time answering questions and thus making it a lot easier for me to translate & sub his interviews--as opposed to "machine-gun"-Yang Mi whose interviews take forever to get through... (If you missed that reference, be sure to check out the comments I added under the previous "Oct-Nov Megapost"--I also added some screencaps of FSF's "slow talking" video so check that out too if you haven't already! )
Once again, I find FSF adorable when he's answering questions related to Yang Mi--he gets all flustered/embarrassed so easily! In fact I am tempted to go on a squee-fest about practically every single thing he says during that segment but I'll let you guys just watch it yourself (I do have a few added notes to expand on some of it though):
So I have FINALLY finished translating and subbing Yang Mi's episode of "Birthday Party" (a variety show) that was aired in late September. The whole interview is very cute (start at Part I) but I'll only mention the FengMi tidbits here. (Most of this has been mentioned over on spcnet before but it's a compilation of everything.)
Some more fangirling due to a cute interview FSF did recently. He just
became the spokesperson for Tissot (a Swiss watch company) and attended a
promo event:
Now you know what is super suspicious?? Remember the two "QiXi" weibo
posts YM/FSF made, that I posted about in the Gong thread? Well...both
of them are now in total denial mode with the media! Reporters asked
them about it separately (YM at her Ruyi press conference interview, FSF
at his Tissot promo event), but YM said she can't remember posting it
(oh come on YM, it was less than 2 weeks ago!) and FSF also said "I
don't think so, I only posted about spending QiXi with Raymond Lam..."
Then after repeated questioning from the reporter FSF says, "Yeah it was
for my fans...who always love and support me." (Hmm, using his good
friend and even his fans as a cover-up FSF? Wonder who you learned that
trick from... ).
The reporters even burst out laughing and couldn't stop the giggles
because they so knew he was purposefully avoiding the question! XD
Sorry for my recent lack of updates! I got distracted with the new Huan Zhu Ge Ge remake and some other Chinese drama. Both FSF and YM have been mostly busy working on their own individual projects and have not made any public appearance together. Not much exciting FengMi news lately. Despite my slow blog update, I do try to keep up with their recent whereabouts in the "Latest News" page.
Anyway, here is what Mango_cake summarized awhile back regarding FengMi weibo interactions:
This is compiled from the past couple months so may not be new to
some people. The weibo posts are not from fans though, they're all direct
"twitter-like" posts from FSF/YM (except the one from YM's agent I
posted), although of course the speculation is from fans! However the
actual posts definitely cannot be twisted since it's right from the two
of them. And just from the posts alone (without speculation), there is a
lot of suspicious material there! Numerous weibo adorable posts are related to
YM/FSF--which have been going on for months so there are tons, but a
couple I remember now:
From their interviews and weibos, I can tell YM seems to
have a heavy influence on FSF. YM loves
to read almost about anything she feels she doesn't know much about. Her great love for reading gave her this
habit to recommend her favorite books to her staff and good friends, which
include FSF. The funny thing is YM would lend her own copy of the books with
all her personal notes/markings to FSF, monitors his reading progress by asking
him to take his own notes and then check on him to make sure he actually read
those books. LOL...
YM describes FSF as the type of guy who overthinks, likes to
take care of others around him, and also concerns himself too much about what
other people’s opinions. His over-caring nature burdens him, according to YM, because
he places too much pressure on himself to care for everyone and consequently
stresses himself out. In contrast, YM's
character is extremely independent, bluntly honest, somewhat careless, and very
outspoken, and she would rather say the hurtful truth than sugarcoat her words.
Her straightforwardness can inadvertently offend a lot people in entertainment
industry. She made many enemies with her
blunt; they probably didn't easily forgive her for it. As she’s gotten older,
YM admits she now constrains her speech and not unwittingly offends people. FSF is the exact opposite. He may not be a sycophant,
but all who met him, ranging from big names in showbiz to random bystanders,
commend FSF for his good manners. He is
more of a quiet listener/observer than an open speaker like YM, and would keep
to himself even if he feels offended.
In the Super Access Interview (ZhaoJi FangWen), the hosts say that YM
exhibits the classic traits of a Beijing girl (brutally honest, outspoken,
split insults to people they're close to as a form of endearment), and FSF is the
classic Shanghaiese guy (soft spoken, mild manner, considerate). Despite
FengMi's very contrasting personalities, their respective traits really
complement each other. FSF said in an interview that YM is really good at
helping him to 'de-stress' when he feels too much pressure because of her
'happy-go-lucky attitude' and optimistic outlook on life. FSF, on the other hand, tries to soften YM's
blunt honesty. FSF is very meticulous in what he does and YM is often careless
in her actions. So FSF said he often helps YM think things over on her behalf.
FengMi met up at a Bazaar afterparty in early December 2010
As of this moment, both denied their dating rumors, saying
they are just extremely good friends and treat each other like family members. I definitely hold more of a conservative view
about FengMi relationship. I do believe FengMi are telling the truth when they
said they are best friends/great co-workers. They are too busy with their current monstrous
workload to maintain a stable relationship. Whatever is the true nature of their
relationship, friends or lovers, I’m still quite touched by their closeness offscreen.
This part was actually cut from the Super Access Interview
episode that got aired. FSF really likes to eat strong-flavored food,
especially spicy food, while YM can't eat spicy food and is more like an
herbivore. When the host asked FSF what YM can't eat, and he replied "She
can't eat spicy food...and she's a vegetarian." Then the host asked YM
what FSF likes to eat, but she replied "What I eat, he eats." When YM
said that, I felt she definitely made them sound so much like a family! (watch
video clip here, scroll to minute 0:58)
Anyway, I'm pretty sure YM knows what FSF likes to eat. I
mean they often dined together during Gong shooting. In the blowing candle
session of Happy Camp (a popular variety show), I think YM said she wants to give him grapes as New
Year's present while FSF wants to give her a toilet (FSF said she just finished
renovating her house). Later on, I found out FSF's favorite fruits included
grapes and strawberries after reading an interview about his temporary
assistant.
Mango_cake’s comments:
I love watching YM interviews in general though, like the
hosts pointed out she is always so honest and genuine, she isn't reserved at
all or constantly worried about saying the right things. FSF's personality is
like the polar opposite of YM but in a good way! I had to laugh at how their
"strengths/weakness" paralleled one another's! Hilarious how FSF was like
"yeah things were fine..." and then YM goes, "actually no, we
didn't get along at all." Lol. And the story of their first meeting...rofl.
This interview was conducted on January 2, 2011 before Gong was released. The three main cast of Gong got invited by Hunan TV to do an hour long interview where they talked about BTS fun.
Watch Interview (partially English subbed on Viki)
Some observations made by Mango_cake:
After the host shows a photo of FSF carrying YM in the
"peach blossom pavilion" scene in Gong, FSF exclaims "Look how
happy I am!" gleefully.
After the host shows a photo of YM and Mickey holding hands during their
"dance scene" in Gong, FSF remarks (teasingly)
"And they're even holding hands..."
Also after that "FSF carrying YM" pic was shown, FSF says YM was so
easy to carry, and keeps going on and on about it--he talks about how light she
is even though she's so tall, he could spin around several times carrying her
and he wouldn't be tired, then he turns directly to YM and says "Really,
you are the lightest person I've ever carried!" in a sort of
"praising/admiring"-type tone.
The host talks about 4th prince and 8th prince choosing love vs. power in
Gong. Then she asks YM what she thinks FSF/Mickey would pick (ie love or their
career). YM says, "I know FSF will pick his career!" Upon which FSF
turns around to YM and says "Not necessarily...how do you know?!"
The host mentions how they film so often in HengDian; FSF says to YM "We
should buy a house there!" YM jokes: "You buy and I'll live in you guys
house!"
Previously in the show, they talk about the nicknames for each other. FSF
calls YM "Mi Jie", i.e. "older sister Mi" (although this
seems to be mostly in public--in the same interview he just referred to her as
"Mi" and he's also called her just "Mi Mi" in other
interviews). Since FSF is actually older than YM the host asks about it, he
explains that it was a joke at first because everyone calls her that, then over
time it became an "ai chen" (directly translates as "love
name" in Chinese but the meaning is more like a "pet name"). At
the end of the show when YM's fan (a guy) comes up to ask YM questions, in his
first comment he also calls YM "Mi Jie" (since it is what her fans
typically call her). FSF immediately cuts in asking (also sounding a tad
jealous IMO) "How come you call her Mi Jie too?!" YM then
turns to him and explains that it is what her fans typically call her. (And I
feel like FSF should know this since he even said it started as a joke due to
other people calling her that, but he seemed to forget about this detail during
his initial reaction!)
When YM's fan is giving her the gift, FSF is hovering right behind the guy
watching the whole thing intently for a good 2 full minutes (reminding me of an
overprotective boyfriend haha), leaving his own numerous gifts to the side
forgotten.
At one point the host talks about the nicknames for fans. e.g. FSF fans are
called "Feng Ling" ("windchimes"), YM's fans are called
"Mi Feng" (bees). After the host mentions this, YM turns to FSF and
in the background you can hear her ask, "Aren't my fans 'Feng Mi' (honey)
"? FSF corrects her saying, "No, 'Feng Mi' are our fans."
And they both don't sound annoyed by it, FSF actually sounds a bit proud and
happy when he mentions "our" fans. So clearly FSF is very aware of
the fans of their pairing, and YM got confused about her fans vs YM/FSF fans
(of course the two terms are very similar, just "flipped" from one
another, but the term "Mi Feng" has been around for much longer and
she's always seemed to be very aware of her fans).
At the end of the show, there's a segment where a fan of each actor comes up
to ask questions and give a gift to them. FSF's fan recommends a restaurant
that he should go to. FSF says, "It has to be strong-flavoured!" The
fan says it is, and then FSF turns to YM...we can't hear exactly what he said
but it certainly seemed like he was suggesting to her that they go
together...and it didn't seem like he included Mickey in this conversation!
(Like a number of their other discussions in this interview where poor Mickey
was ignored...) I also wonder if he asked the question about the restaurant
because he himself likes to eat strong-flavoured food or if YM does.
I'm used to see FSF looking awkward and flustered in interviews. Are you interested in seeing
the usual articulate and eloquent Yang Mi looking flustered and nervous? LOL. I laughed so hard when I watched this video last March when YM attended the Yule Da Dian Ceremony. I
usually don't get to see Yang Mi loses her calmness.
English Translation:
Host: After Gong aired, you've been in a transitional phase of improvement
and a hectically busy phase as well. Not only were you busy attending countless
events, you were busy figuring out how to deal with the issue
you have with Shaofeng. [he laughs]
0:15
Host: I'm getting to the most important point.
Host: So you and FSF got awarded today
YM: Yes.
Host: It was decided for you to come here after you consulted with him?
YM: En...Yes...Haha…
0:22
Host: You consulted with him, right?
YM: No, no, no…We never consulted each other. It's because he's
currently busy and not in Beijing at this moment.
Host: We know each other pretty well; there's no need for you to blush
so hard?
YM: I'm not...
0:36
Host: Why don't we do this, let's give Feng Shaofeng a call, shall we?
YM: Okay
Host: We can let him say his acceptance speech. Shall we see what he has
to say?
YM: Okay
Host: Did the call go through? Hello? Hi Shaofeng
0:49
FSF: Hello
Host: Hi Shaofeng, I'm DaZuo, Yang Mi is here at my side. A moment ago,
you two just received a TV series award, did you know about it?
1:00
FSF: Yes, I know. I heard about it.
Host: Do you have an award acceptance speech you would like to make?
FSF: En...I'm very grateful toward Yule XianChang for giving me this
award, but it's unfortunate I have to shoot a drama today and couldn't go get
the award [myself]...It happened my good
friend Yang Mi can get the award on my behalf. I wish everything will run
smoothly at the Yule Award Ceremony.
YM: [While FSF talks, YM continuously
nods her head in approval]
1:24
Host: En, yes. Actually that was just the prologue. What we are more
concerned is...do you have anything you want to say to your "good
friend"?
FSF: She's there?
Host: She's here! Come, say something.
1:33
YM: En...[coughs]
FSF: En...What's wrong? [note: FSF
didn’t greet YM with a hello at all, which is really informal and personal in
Mandarin, but immediately jumps to a question] What does the award plaque
look like?
YM: What...
FSF: What does the plaque look like?
YM: Aiya..It looks pretty good. Just wait two more days till I see
you and I'll give it to you. I'll just keep it for you this next two days.
FSF: Is it glass or metal? Then...tomorrow when I'm back in Beijing,
I'll drop by your place to pick it up when you're available.
1:53
YM: [She's looking shocked and stares at the host. The audience
laughs] No, it's because in two more days we
have a press conference for a new TV series; we have work together.
FSF: [He cuts YM short] Yes, I know, it's Fu Hu Zhuan Qi
YM: I'm talking to the friends [audience] here...and...I'm explaining
to everyone, so they won't have any unnecessary misunderstanding. [She stutters a little]
2:10
Host: We're not misunderstanding …
FSF:What...The more you explain, the MORE THAT [people
misunderstand] It’s fine! [also roughly translated as "Forget it"]
[Audience roars with laughter]
YM's reaction when FSF told to cease her explanation of "their relationship"
2:13
YM:[She
smiles sweetly but embarrassingly]
Host: Ai! Feng Shaofeng, let me ask you something.
Everyone right now is very concerned about this. We don’t see it as just mere
gossip to satisfy our curiosity. We sincerely hope the best for you two. Do you
understand my intention? How do you really feel? Please give us your stance,
Shaofeng.
2:30
FSF: [We're] as good as in the drama, don’t
interrupt. [We're] good in the drama. Everything’s good. Everything’s good.
Host: Everything’s good, huh?
FSF: En.
Host: What’s good about everything?
FSF: I’m going to go shoot [a scene]
2:40
YM: It’s not like you’re here anyway.
FSF: Ah?
YM: I said it’s not like you’re here anyway, so
you don’t have to….I said you’re not here at the award ceremony anyway, so you
can say whatever you like. Can you contain yourself [meaning can you be more
discreet]? Just a tiny bit. [FSF
starts to chuckle] There are a lot of people here.
YM reminds FSF "There are a lot of people here"
FSF: I…kekekekeke
[Audience bursts
into laughter]
Host to YM: Say something
YM: Go film your scenes! Go! Go! Go quickly!
FSF: En~ Okay~En~En~Okay-le
[The audience roars with laughter and applauds]
YM tilts her head
downward in embarrassment as FSF bids his goodbye with “En~ Okay~En~En~”
3:12
Host: There's no need for me to say anything more. When we are in a casual conversation, this would often come up "En. Okay. En. Okay"
YM: So pretentious!
Host: I'm joking. Actually, you explained this issue [her romantic rumors with FSF] numerous times already.
YM: Right, right.
Host: Right. Since we're here today, do you want to say anything? FSF's stance is "En. It's good. Okay." How about yours?
3:37
YM: No, it just that we know each other so well. And sometimes he would often...well...he's the type that gets easily sensible...very easily sensible...while I'm very rational, so I would often have to hold him back. I have to control a bit of his sensibility. Otherwise, once he's in the mood, he'll say random things or whatever he likes.
It was later revealed on FSF's weibo (microblog) he didn't realize the phone conversation was broadcast live on national TV! ROFL.
Mango_cake comments:
I'm definitely used to YM being very composed in interviews so that was certainly a change! She's even more adorable when she's flustered and embarrassed, hehe. It's certainly another suspicious-sounding interview--once again FSF doesn't deny anything and just gives an evasive, ambiguous answer. And YM seemed so nervous about him giving something away...if there was nothing to hide why would she have to tell FSF to be more careful in his answers, or explain that she has to tell him to "hold back" sometimes because he will just say whatever he's feeling without thinking.
Though maybe she is just aware of all the crazy rumours about the two of them and doesn't want him to say anything to fuel the fire and have them to get out of hand, who knows.
FSF mentioned in three different interviews (Super Access, YuLe, Tudou) that YM could not stand his slow driving. Compared to FSF, YM is definitely less patient and more rash. He recalled a driving experience with YM sitting in his car and they were waiting to make a left turn at a busy intersection with a lot of pedestrian traffic. Even when all the pedestrians finished crossing the street, FSF still hesitated to make the left turn and the cars behind them were honking loudly. YM couldn't take it anymore and complained "Feng Ge ("Older Brother Feng"), can you drive any SLOWER?" FSF replied, "Why don't I get out and let you drive?" YM then shut up and didn't complain anymore. ROFL. FSF then explained that he was in two severe accidents that almost took his life. After going through near death experiences, FSF felt there were so many in life more important than speeding to get to your destination. Now he values his opportunity to live more than anything.
Okay, I have to admit the following photos don't have anything to do with the incident I just wrote about. But it does relate to the driving/car theme. :D LOL. I found FSF to be such a gentleman. He opened the passenger car door for YM before hoping in the driver's seat.
Photo source: some Chinese paparazzi who followed them after they dined together at a Beijing restaurant in February.
The first car accident occurred in December of 2007. FSF overworked, fell asleep behind the wheel and wasn't even conscious during the collision. The second accident happened while he was riding his motorcycle and a truck hit him. He only escaped death because he was pushed under beneath the truck while his vehicle got crushed. After this second incident, his parents forbade FSF to drive a motorcycle despite his great love for car racing/motorcycling and became the meticulously slow driver that YM know today.
FengMi pairing onscreen/offscreen is highly debated right now on Chinese
cyberspace. The news media is divided into two camps: negative group says their "apparent closeness" is a promotional tactic to garner
attention and the more positive group just really want them to hook up in
real life so they can be the first to grab the "latest FengMi
headlines."
Legend of Military Seal Press Conference Interview, she talks about the challenge to shoot serious scenes with FSF and promotional tactic rumors surround FengMi,
etc.
English Translation by Mango_cake:
Narrator: March 9th, the HFCQ press conference is underway.
Actors YM and FSF from the popular series "Gong" once again act as a
couple and continue the "FengMi" romance. After the conference we got an
exclusive interview with YM. When talking about the "FengMi" romance,
YM seemed quite delighted and happy.
YM: Perhaps it's because, um, at first everyone loved watching QC
and 8th prince, so they also feel that YM and FSF are very suitable for
each other in real life. Um, I'm grateful to everyone for trying to
"matchmake" for me (laughs), but, at this point in time I really don't
have any time for dating, this is the honest truth. Shaofeng is probably
the same, I believe he's also currently extremely busy, perhaps even
busier than me. So I want to say...mmm...well, I guess right now we are
just good friends (laughs).
Interviewer: What about in the future, is there a possibility of any developments?
YM: I. Don't. Know. (...she says this with a sort of mischievous expression and a cute shake of the head, then giggles)
Interviewer: Do you have any of those thoughts? (about developing a relationship with FSF)
YM: Huh? (smiles)
Interviewer: Do you have any of those thoughts? (lol, he won't let this subject go...XD)
YM: I'm not telling you! (giggles) I'm still all about my
work...aiya, if all of you keep asking the two of us these questions in
the future how will we collaborate! (laughs) We will be embarrassed!
Narrator: This time FSF was cast in HFCQ thanks to YM's strong
recommendation. Seems like the relationship between these two is not
just casual acquaintances! But, knowing each other too well can also
lead to some embarrassing situations.
YM: This time, acting in a proper serious drama, when the two of
us had to be all serious and look each other deeply in the eyes, we
would easily dissolve into laughter. (smiles and nods)
Interviewer: Because you know each other too well?
YM: Yes, too well! And also, because in Gong with 8th prince we
were always bickering and fighting, so once we had to be very serious we
were like, "Oh, why are you being so pretentious!" (laughs) We already
know each other's personalities well, so, when all of a sudden both
people become so serious and deep, you really just want to laugh! (YM sounds so excited and happy here, hehe)
Narrator: Because they understand each other so well (causing
them to break out into laughter during filming), and also because their
everyday actions towards each other are so sweet, it causes people to
wonder if this is all just a promotional tactic to get attention.
YM: These "promotional tactic" rumours have all along just been
people's empty speculation--let's say if I just speak one sentence to
Shaofeng, then perhaps people will say this is just to gain media
attention. Well in your everyday life will you not talk to your
colleagues too? Will you not talk to your female colleagues--perhaps one
person in particular you might talk to a bit more? It's the same thing!
Like before when we were filming Gong, filming HFCQ, even at that time
we would have a lot of interaction on set and also including on our
weibo's. We would play games with each other, I would ride in his car or
he would ride in mine, that type of thing, we have always had this
interaction, but perhaps at that time people did not pay much attention
to the two of us. Mmm...it's just because Gong had such a good
reception, so people would say, "Did you two start to interact with each
other so much just to get press attention?" But actually that's not the
case, the two of us will never begin or cease interacting with each
other just because of outside opinions.
Narrator: YM, who calmly and directly answered all the
questioning, also revealed, that when faced with outside rumours and
speculations about the two of them, she has never discussed in private
with FSF what to say to the media beforehand. They will just go with the
flow.
YM: The two of us absolutely do not discuss these things in
private, like saying "Hey, today a journalist asked me something, and
everyone will think so-and-so, how about we discuss it and come up with
what to say to the media?" We never do that. I won't force him and he
won't force me, that is, we never talk about rumours and gossip about
us, we never have! This is part of the comfortableness and familiarity
between the two of us, perhaps...that is, mmm, we will talk about
work-related things to each other, for example "I have so-and-so coming
up, what will you be working on next", and perhaps we will recommend
each other for things, but we won't talk about the gossip, uh, like come
up with a common "story" for the media. I think what he says is his
freedom to do so, same with me, we won't interfere with each other or
anything like that.
Compared to YM's eloquence and composed responses to reporters, I feel
FSF always get stumped by their questions...like in here....LOL...so
easily tricked by reporters...
YM said FSF is the type of person who likes to 'stick' to others, but she's not.
Then the reporter changed YM's comment a little and told FSF that "YM said you like to stick to her"...
FSF's response was like "what?! I stick to her? where is she??!!" He
looked around the room for YM, probably trying to evade the question...
Mango_cake's comments:
LMAO.
I had to rewatch that about 5 times it was so funny. Especially when he
whips his head around a second time...rofl. Poor FSF! Reporters must
have a field day with him...YM needs to give him some lessons on how to
be unperturbed by these things! (I wonder if YM ever clarified her
actual comment to him though.)
During the HunanTV Lantern Festival Show, the two hosts, Xie Na and He Ling, relentlessly teased FengMi about their relationship. FengMi must respond to their question if "they are together."
English translation by Mango_cake
0:00 Male host: Everybody is very interested what will happen in "Gong" in the end. Everyone is guessing at what the ending will be. Female host: Do they get together in the end? Male host: Wha...? How can you ask so directly! Female host: I wasn't asking about in the drama-- Male host: If you ask that then you will spoil the series! Female host: No, no, you misunderstand me-- Male host: Ok let's just have it out directly, Qing Chuan do you end up with 8th prince or 4th prince in the end?
0:20 YM: (laughs) Audience: (screams "8th prince") Male host: How about this, let's leave some suspense for the viewers and give up some well-wishes for them! YM: Okay, hi everyone, I'm YM, I hope in the new year everyone
can find an impossible-to-break-up love like Qing Chuan and 8th prince,
how's that?
0:38 Female host: "Impossible-to-break-up" eh?! (shoves FSF playfully) So is it "unbreakable?" Male host: (shoves FSF playfully too) Is it unbreakable?! FSF: (looks embarrassed) Male host: 8th prince really is the ideal guy in many girls' eyes right now. Female host: Really? Male host: They think he has that kind of "arrogant but sweet" air about him. Female: Exactly, so you see, before you misunderstood me, when I
asked if they were together in the end you thought I was asking about in
the series, I was actually asking if they were together outside the series!
0:59 Male host: Are you saying FSF and YM? (Audience screams) Female host: Yes! Male host: What, is our show really that kind of tabloid trash show?! Female host: This is just me representing myself asking-- Male host: You're going to make them embarrassed! (turns
immediately to FSF+YM) Okay let's get this out in the open are you guys
together or not?
1:10
(Audience cheers while FSF hesitates) Male host: (trying to calm the audience down) Ok come on don't be
like that don't be like that. Let's just directly send them our
congratulations! Female host: Yes yes! Male host: YM has been coaching FSF all this time *imitating YM*
Come on now, don't be nervous, come on, it's ok...*stops imitating her*
Alright FSF, tell everyone what's going on!
1:30 FSF: (hesitating for a long time...) YM: You can say it now, you can say it. FSF: We...often...are together, filming. Male host: Oh-ho, what is this! This young guy, after being in the showbiz for some time, is getting better and better at answering! YM: (in the background, it sounds like she says something like
"Just give everyone some well wishes", lmao if she actually has been
coaching FSF on what to say)
1:46 FSF: Uh...I would also like to wish everyone here success and fortune in the new year! Male host: ...and we all wish you two to be forever together! ...filming.
What was in YM's mind when FSF was forced to respond to the "together" question??? She SURE was giving him a strange look.
Backstage Interview where FengMi's friends, Li Chen and Qin Lan, joined in on the teasing.
Mango_cake comments:
FSF is so bad at answering these questions. It takes him forever to
answer and even when he does it's an evasive "non-answer", then he tries
to change the subject right away. I notice YM did all the talking in
the other clip (backstage interview) and she had no problem denying
everything (saying they were just good friends) but FSF looked all
awkward and got flustered when they asked about his Valentine's Day, and
barely nodded when YM asked him to confirm that they were just friends.
And Li Chen/Qin Lan teasing the two of them in the background...lmao at
"Just confess already!", "Didn't they already get their marriage
license?". And when YM goes, "I spent Valentine's Day working, with Li
Chen", the guy turns to FSF being all defensive saying "it was just work
